Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly every day? We are now looking for an IT Support Technician at Tarkett in Ronneby who wants to contribute to our products maintaining the highest quality and ensuring our customers always receive their deliveries on time. As an IT technician, you have a crucial responsibility to ensure that our internal customers receive the IT support they expect.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide on-site IT support in an office and factory environment.
- Receive, register, and resolve user requests (via ticketing system, phone, email, personal contact) and escalate these to higher support levels when necessary.
- Ensure access to equipment, software, and peripherals for end users and monitor IT hardware.
- Configure workstations with computers and necessary peripherals (monitors, printers, etc.).
- Participate in IT projects, both local and central.
- Train end users in computer usage and IT systems.
- Diagnose network and hardware issues; perform repairs or analyses and escalate cases to higher support levels when necessary.
- Order, install, and configure equipment for new employees and manage permissions for user accounts.
- Monitor local IT infrastructure and report any issues to higher support levels.
Our expectations are that you:
- Have an IT education from university/college or equivalent knowledge through work experience.
- Are helpful and solution-oriented.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with clear delivery requirements, where collaboration is an important trait.
- Have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Have a valid driver's license (B).
Knowledge requirements:
- Operating systems: Microsoft Windows 11, Windows Server 2016 or later.
- Basic knowledge of network operations: WAN, (W)LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewall.
- Applications: Microsoft Office 365.
- Communication and telephony systems: Microsoft Teams, Android & iOS (mobile).
- Configuration and support for computers, tablets, monitors, mobile phones, and peripherals.
Desirable Knowledge:
- Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Intune, VMware.
- Basic hardware repairs (SSD replacement, RAM installation, etc.).
